Dr. Detlef Huber

Detlef Huber is Senior Advisor Latin America for Nivalion. He is a former reinsurance executive,
a lawyer admitted to the German bar and currently runs an insurance consultancy specialised inter alia in complex claims matters, arbitration and litigation support. He is a certified arbitrator of ARIAS USA and has extensive experience with dispute resolution matters in – amongst other regions – Latin America. Detlef studied law in Germany (Freiburg & Hamburg), holds a Master of European Law from the University Autónoma Madrid, Spain as well as a PhD in law from the University of Hamburg. He is fluent in German, Spanish, English and speaks some Portuguese.
